The hockey board is doing a league (it has way more categories, I think 12x12) that hasn't started yet. Draft is tomorrow. They have registration closed for now because they don't want to get an odd number of teams again since that prevented their original draft from starting. They will open it back up (preferably so since we only have 8 teams right now) if they can get an even number of teams.

If someone else from our league is interested, we can get more people in as long as groups of 2. Huskers1217 and I are the only 2 in our league in that one as well.

Anybody else in our league want to join up with Brasky on the hockey board league?

Ok, maybe we need to clarify terms here since it seems some are not following. We are in a traditional 5x5 head to head league, so I think you are getting confused thinking you got "4 points" because of Kershaw. Think of it this way, after one day, you are currently leading in 4 pitching stat categories because of Kershaw....

Our head to head "game" is not over until April 10th (I think....it's a long week because the season started on a Thursday, so it goes until the following Sunday) Then each week (ie "game") is one week long, Monday through Sunday.

So, you currently lead me in 5 categories, I lead in 2, and we are tied in 3....So if the "game" (ie week long matchup) were to end after just one day you would get a record of 5-2-3 for our matchup.

So, you didn't get any "points" for Kershaw's performance last night.....You did get a very nice performance that puts you in the lead in 4 categories, but if I end up with better numbers at the end of the week, I will get the "points"......does that make it clearer.....nobody has any actual points or wins or whatever you call them right now.....ok, think of yesterday as the first inning, with you winning 5-2.....still 6 innings (days) to go.....the only difference is that you don't build upon your 5-2 first inning lead.....there is only 10 points possible at the end of the week (game).....you could be losing 5-2 after tomorrows game if my team does better in day two then yours did in day one.....

Does this make any sense, or have I confused you further?

Man..............it's almost believable. He was a WR on scholarship at Cincinnatti before he decided to play basketball instead....

But yea, it's April 1st..........and last year I fell for Lane Grindle coming on the air and saying "OMG! THE BIG 12 JUST GOT TOGETHER AND DECIDED TO STRIP THE TROPHY FROM TEXAS AND GIVE IT TO NEBRASKA! THEY SAID THE RULES STATE THAT 1 SECOND SHOULD NOT BE PUT BACK ON THE CLOCK!"

Then 2 hours later he said April Fools................NOT fallin for any Husker April Fools shit anymore
