The only difference is that the 10,000 posts thread WOULD get more posts but it's closed......

Obviously we would eventually stack them up and become cumbersome....My opinion we keep the newest one that has concluded stickied.....ie, when we finish the 2nd one, we unsticky the first, keep the 2nd and start the 3rd.....so at any given time we only have one archived one sticky plus our active one....
