However, Brion was 11 of 15 for 173 yards and 2 TDs through the air......

Kellogg was nowhere close.

And Taylor was 4 of 13 (OUCH)...........Green was 4 of 10 (OUCH)........and both had turnovers.

How many drops to Kellogg have compared to Carnes?????


How many of carnes yards came after the catch by Mr. Electricity ( )


Again, I didn't watch the game....... but what they were saying was that Kellogg was much more ACCURATE....... which doesn't always translate into the better stat line.

I don't think Carnes will start. Simply because he's not ready.
Tmart is the QB. If he were to get injured in fall camp, Green would be the guy.
I do think no matter who the starter is, Carnes will be first choice for mop up duty if the first couple of games are well in hand.
Head coaches tend to be conservative and tend to not rock the boat unless they absolutely have to.
If Nebraska were to start (4-2) or (3-3) due to 'obvious' poor QB play then I think you could see Carnes given an opportunity to start the Minnesota game.

Things are going good in Lincoln when you've got some younger guys arriving on campus pushing the older guys. This has been going on with the defensive side of the ball for a couple of years now. It looks like the same thing may finally be happening on the offensive side with the skilled positions.

Instantly pissed me off and I was ready to go... Sorry, I guess it is in my nature to be aggressive when I feel attacked... That's why I played "D" in my days I guess.

There are no excuses that are good enough to say I apologize for my reaction... After I posted it and had time to think upon it, I wondered why you and I had been swapping reps and out of the blue you would attack my post...

Once again, I am sorry I did not read the sarcasm in your response... I am a big enough guy to admit when I am wrong... I hope you will accept it.
