I'm not at all opposed to having a separate fantasy baseball thread....

I would think it should probably be on the main board since it isn't just a Husker thing and Bone or Smoke shouldn't have to read our long thread to pick out fantasy baseball chat. Although, everyone else in the league is a Husker or ugafan that reads this thread all the time.....ok, I don't know if that white rat dude reads this thread or not....

One thing though, this is kind of a catch all that by nature violates the entire concept of message board organization of topics.....theoreitcally we should have a whats for dinner thread instead of discussing our culinary explorations in this here thread.....Hockey talk doesn't belong here either....or does it? See what I mean.....why don't we have a Husker music thread to post music videos too instead of plorsting them here.....and a Husker Hot Chicks thread for our pics of sweet women?

I don't know, like I said, I've thought we should probably try and do more of our fantasy baseball chat on a different thread, but I don't know where we should start such a thread....This just defaults since most of us follow this thread all the time....

See, go set your lineup....if you don't care to follow it more closely, you can at least set your lineup for the week today, it will show you who plays each day for the week if you click on opponents in the lineup screen.

baseball is a boring sport. Sure it can be fun to play it but the idea of spending money on a ticket to watch players make $20 million in a year while standing around with chewing tobacco in their mouthes doesn't sound appealing to me.

Most people say that baseball isn't exciting until the playoffs start. That is because you have too many games in a season, like over 160 is almost a game every day. It is too much for a fan to want to deal with. I mean if you have season tickets to a team it gets really boring after a while. I mean cricket is probably far more exciting.

MLB baseball also isn't as competitive anymore. Look at the leagues with salary caps, NFL and NHL. Any team can win and the NFL has had a cap for a long time and it certainly makes it far more exciting to watch.
