Honestly they shouldve been 3 or 5. If you put them ahead of Clemson based on resume they certainly shouldve been ahead of Bama too but with the Bama/LSU game this week theyre just setting up the winner to jump OSU

On this we can agree. If they think Penn St is 4, I see nothing that would justify them not being 4, because neither Bama or Clemson has played a better schedule.

Yep i was surprised when i saw them at 4 but not shocked . I think we talked about it last week. If theyd put the top 5 all in order of resume it shouldvd been

Thd issue if they did that is if Bama wins at home ( as they should ) but then PSU beats Minnesota on the road you cant reslly justify jumping Bama to 1 on resume so youd end up with

It follows what appears to be the logic for this year....til they change it, lol. Although based on where they ranked Minnesota, I don't see where Penn State would get much of a bump for the win.

All moot now though...winners will advance, losers will go home. Should be an interesting November. Somebody has got a surprise in order, will be interesting to see who the party crashers are. Minnesota and Baylor would be good Vegas bets on record alone...if not actual performance.
