What was the point of letting Folty hit for himself if you're gonna take him out anyways?

If though he's in line for the loss, encouraging start for Folty. Fast ball velocity was up to where it was last year.

And why pull him after only 67 pitches ? Only 3 hits in 6 innings and even though 2 were home runs, still a solid performance

I'll certainly take 4 out of 6 from 2 of the better teams in the NL. Should have swept the Brewers but still not bad at all.

Unfortunately, the Phillies beat up on the Rockies this weekend. The good news is they start a horrendous stretch in their schedule tonight with 4 @ the Cubs, @ Milwaukee, home for 3 with the Cardinals, @ Dodgers and @ Padres.

In that same stretch, the Braves have 3 @ San Fran, 3 @ St. Louis, 2 vs. Nats, 3 vs. Detroit, 7 with the Pirates, and 3 @ the Marlins.

The time to move is now boys.

Braves just traded Viz and Biddle to Seattle for Swarzak. Amounts to a free look at Swarzak. Viz is out of the year and Biddle can't be called up to walk the farm again.

Swarzak had a brilliant 2017 but hasn't been great since. ERA in the 5's this year with a high walk rate. Should fit right in. Hoping a change of scenery does him some good.
