Ohio St coming off an embarrassing loss @ Purdue, followed with a bye week.

Huskers coming off convincing 1st win over a potential toilet bowl opponent, snapping a 10 game losing streak, followed by an FCS opponent the likes the SEC plays in mid-November to tune up for rivals.

Buckeye's open -21

Fire away.....

I see a return to reality 'up front' on both sides of the ball.

Huskers struggle to run, Buckeye's don't.
Martinez runs for his life, Haskins has all day to throw.

tOSU has a better roster and more experience in the coaching ranks. Never mind home field. This won't be close. Here's hoping for an injury free, sustained effort game.

But, they are not the same Bucknuts of the past few years. Another bad game on their part, and early offensive success for the good guys, could make it fun.

Maybe they are.

Ohio St got embarrassed by Iowa (24-55) last season before taking it out on Mich St (48-3) the following week, winning their last 5 to include the CCG and Cotton Bowl.

They've had two weeks to look at Nebraska while stewing over the Purdue embarrassment.

Take the Buckeyes, give the points up to 29.

Their passing offense against this Nebraska pass defense, there will be records. No idea how many good receivers Ohio State has, but i will guess three players will have 100 yard receiving days with one with a 200 yard receiving day. Nebraska could not stop Victor last year, still the same players on defense except for Tre Neal.

Interesting tidbit, their other wide receiver, Mclaurin(spelling), graduated in December of 2017.

Columbus Home crowd wanting blood, there will be records.

For some reason, I think Dobbins and Weber run wild. They have done it in the past, just not consistently. Freshman phenoms but then tapered off.

Glad this isn't a night game so the crowd shouldn't be too drunk. :noidea:

Hopefully no blow out loss as there is no pressure on the Huskers, all the pressure on the nuts.

I’d like to see us put up 30 points. They’re gonna get 50 on us.

I have a feeling it’s gonna be a big day for JD and Morgan. I really think we can score points. As was pointed out earlier, we would need to win the turnover battle basically to have any sort of chance.

I don’t see that happening.

Ohio State - 55
Nebraska - 31

i'd just take us not flopping. OSU is good at the pass, so i see them scoring a lot. would be great if we could actually generate a pass rush, but that will be the downfall, Haskins will have too much time to throw and our DBs can't cover the talented WRs forever.

I'd hope SF tries to establish the run and shorten the game, maybe our D with enough rest/adjust could get a stop or two and our offense can light it up. The O though has a tendency to have a lull and that will more than likely cost us the game.
