I have a feeling it’s gonna be a big day for JD and Morgan. I really think we can score points. As was pointed out earlier, we would need to win the turnover battle basically to have any sort of chance.

I don’t see that happening.

Ohio State - 55
Nebraska - 31

Nebraska looks about right. With Bosa throwing in the towel on his college career (out since TCU), I can see Nebraska scoring high 20's/low 30's.

As a note....Ohio St hasn't scored 50+ since week 2.

Oregon St: 77 (home)
Rutgers: 52 (home)
TCU: 40 (neutral) Ohio St. defense scored 2 TD's
Tulane: 49 (home)
Penn St: 27 (away)
Indiana: 49 (home)
Minnesota: 30 (home)
Purdue: 20 (away)

Other than Minnesota they've been a different animal at home. With a bye week, a home game, and a bit of anger over the Purdue debacle, I expect they'll fix what's been ailing their offense the last two games. Nebraska's D-line will have had to have made big strides the last two weeks to keep the Buckeye's under 40 pts IMO. They've had trouble getting pressure, thus trouble getting off the field on 3rd downs.

i don't get it. What'd I miss?

Without googling it, I think Zach Smith is the asst coach that was a wife beater under Urban Meyer since the days at Florida. Urban's wife knew about it so Urban knew about it, yet chose to ignore it.

Zach Smith was terminated by Ohio State and urban Meyer was suspended. Since then, Urban Meyer seems to have checked out, and the Ohio State players are showing it.

Nebraska Pass Defense yards allowed
Colorado - 351 with a receiver over 100
Troy - 110 no receiver over 100
Michigan - 206 but 250 rush yards, no receiver over 100
Purdue - 328 with a receiver over 100
Wisconsin - 163 but 370 rush yards, no receivers over 100
Northwestern - 455 a receiver over 200
Minnesota - 349 with a receiver over 100
Bethune Cookman - 214 with a receiver over 100 yards

Nebraska is on par with Oregon State and Rutgers. Not sure how Minnesota held Ohio State to 30, yet Nebraska lit them up. Maybe a sign that Ohio State players are checking out without Bosa and Coach Urban Meyer being flakey.

The last two seasons OSU has whooped us by 59 and 42 pts. We'll see how much a coaching change does for us. Excluding AM we've essentially the same players as last season. Hopefully we can keep the score respectable is about all I'm looking to get out of this game

I'm up to date on that. Yeah, Urbs was doing his mentor (Earl Bruce) a solid by keeping his grandson gainfully employed.

I was trying to find relevance to "dinner" and thought I'd missed something recent.

I expect Ohio State will work on their running game. Huskers ain't no better at stopping the run. I don't see 60+ for them.

Buckeyes: 52
Huskers: 30 on a garbage TD.
