The updated roster doesn’t include defensive back Lemond Johnson, who played four games last season. Tennessee athletic department spokesman Jason Yellin said Johnson is no longer part of the team.

Jennings allegedly assaulted an Oakland graduate, and after damaging the car the teen was driving, took valuables from inside,” according to the story, which doesn’t provide any further details of the date or location or any other specifics regarding the incident.

Heading into the Vols third year under Jones, it is pretty much put up or shut up time.
There is one glaring question mark for the 2015 Volunteers: the offensive line.
Insert class of 2015, former five star, blue chip-prospect out of Memphis, Tennessee, Drew Richmond.
Butch Jones and the rest of his coaching staff did a sensational job snagging Drew Richmond and having him flip his commitment from Ole Miss and sign with Tennessee on signing day.
Richmond’s recruitment process went wire to wire, all the way down to national signing day, when the Butch landed his guy.
Drew Richmond is a phenomenal get. Richmond brings to the table superb length, agility, and quickness for a guy his size. He is listed at a gigantic 6’5, 323 pounds. The hot button question now is can Richmond crack into the lineup on the offensive line as a true freshman?
Richmond is adamant that he can play left tackle or right tackle, though he may be suited best to start out as a right tackle, since having him as a left tackle would be difficult because of the added responsibility of protecting the quarterbacks blind side. Make no mistake, Drew Richmond has the ability and the potential to carve out a role even as a true freshman. He truly is a guy to watch that may blossom into a superstar before he leaves Knoxville. Expectations on “Rocky Top” are that Richmond will contend and get in the mix for a starting spot on the offensive line, come the fall.
