My question is this....if everybody knows LA to the Spurs is legit, why would anyone help in a trade to facilitate it?

Too bad for LBJ that Dunleavy has agreed to stay in Chicago.

Splitter traded to Hawks... Maybe Hawks anticipating losing Milsap to magic?

If the Spurs get LA, the Cavs hopes for a title with James would take a SERIOUS hit.

Its hit for everyone. Are the Cavs the only team trying to win a title in the next few years?

No, but under the circumstances they sure are the most desperate and under the most pressure.

James' has shown he'll change teams like he changes underwear.
If it gets to the point as to where he doesn't think he can win there....

If this is true who gets the blame?

The Lakers weren't tops on his list. Don't have to blame anyone. Perhaps they were trying to sell him on playing center alongside Randle at the 4. Aldridge doesn't want to play center. I like Aldridge but I'd rather see a rim protecting center sign.

No, I think this is what they're doing: They're going to start this guy, move Horford to forward, and re-sign Millsap.

Carroll just signed with the Raptors, so he's gone.

Hmm, I'm starting to like the idea of giving Millsap that deal. We're only going to be paying him $18 million the first year, and the cap is going to see a huge spike in the near future. At first I thought we weren't doing anything to address size, but it looks like that's exactly what they're doing getting this guy and, most importantly, moving Horford.

No one is mentioning Duncan's pending free agency? How will the Spurs afford to pay him if they LA? Are we just assuming he's going to take a minimum contract?

I know Windhorst doesn't think he'll do that, having just gone through a costly divorce.

As someone who has watched exactly one Hawks game in his lifetime, is Carroll a good signing?

If you're in the East - which the Raptors are - he's great to have in a series vs LeBron. He can handle the bulk of that assignment which is huge. Pretty good value in the contract, IMO, especially considering the cap jump looming.

What? Duncan is divorced?

I didn't realize until just a few days ago he was an UFA. He's been so quiet. I'm sure he will take a cut since he's such a great guy and all. :D

Just knowing he has that defensive ability makes him worth the money. Lord knows this team needs it.

Not to mention that whole thing with his financial advisor robbing him or whatever.
