I think ill just choose 3 "random" teams to be a fan off.......hmmmm...when I was a kid who was good? The Yanks, Bulls and Cowboys! God the people that do that are beyond pathetic- and then try and justify it by saying they have been fans of those teams "for years"!

Theres people on this forum that have TWO different team avatars- AND I AM a bandwagoner because Russell Westbrook is my favorite player in the league (or was until Kyrie was drafted and developed)?

the hypocrisy stinks to high heaven.


but- when you root for a team like the Cavs- its too be expected--- all the haters and the jealousy comes pouring out- and you hear these pathetic, reaching, arguments about what happened years ago - or what is goingto happen or whatever other trash people dredge up when they get defensive and cant handle the truth. Like this bull crap about how you cant criticize the Lakers because how well they did going back to the 60's. Ill tell ya- i dont give 2 shits what happened before I was born or watched the league or even what happened 10 years ago. If THAT is all you have to lean on- what happened years ago- well- then that just must mean that the present is PRETTY DAMN BLEAK.

been a Chiefs fan since the '67 season. my mom was a KC native and i was raised on Chiefs football...

the Lakers i've been a fan of since the '70 season. they didn't even have a title out here at that time. hmm...

the Rangers i casually follow since '70. they i don't recall them having a title either at the time...

AT least unlike LA we HAVE a football team (lol,- well sorta I guess). The Browns will never be a contender until they fill the QB position- but they actually have built a decent team- especially on the lines (especially offensively), and the defensive backfield. AT LEAST they are not as bad as the Raiders. lol.

I grew up A LONG ways from Columbus.
I could fly to Miami as fast as I could drive to Columbus, if that meant something.

Why should I grow up a Buckeye fan?
I WAS a Browns fans first and foremost until they moved to Baltimore.

Truth be told, why aren't you a Zips or Golden Flash fans if you are going be geography as your reasoning?

The Canes were the first team that drew my interest to CFB.
They still are and always will be my team.

Uh, everybody can pick and choose teams. Not being a fan of teams that aren't from the area you are in isn't what makes you a fan. It's picking a team and sticking with them through thick and thin regardless of where they are located.

I've shared before that I was supposed to be a Suns fan. I was born in Phoenix and I had 2 aunts who were die hard Suns fans and had season tickets for years. My entire family, except me and my Mom are Suns fans (Mom's a Lakers fan too) They even sent me to Dick Van Arsdale's basketball camp 2 years in a row to complete the indoctrination.

The problem was, when they took me to my first NBA game, it was the Suns vs. Lakers. As soon as the Lakers walked out on to the court, I became a fan and never looked back.

I was also supposed to be an ASU fan. Problem was, the first college football game I was ever taken to was USC when I was 8. Became a Trojan fan and also never looked back. On this one, I am completely alone in my family.

Guess I'm the black sheep.

yah-- you probably should- as a Bulls fan- most likely from me all you are going to be hearing is how your team blew its big chance last year and will continue in its role as LeBron's indentured servant for the foreseeable future.

LeBron pretty much just totally OWNS the Bulls. Totally and completely. Joakim Noah is the metaphorical equivalent of LeBron's shoe-shine boy. Come May LeBron will tell Noah to "go get his effin shine box" once again.
