Plus, it would be really cool to see them all follow the Cavs parade down to the river, set it on fire and have a big ol' cookout.
wow....river jokes from the 70's? Last time I was in LA the whole LA Basin was just brown from pollution and half the beaches were shut down because of bacteria warning. AND THAT WAS NOT THE 70's! LOL.

honestly I have never seen smog like that before in the United States.

$15 million per season is a bargain for a big man with Valanciunas' pedigree and potential. Grantland's Zach Lowe wrote earlier this offseason that Valanciunas was a lock for a max extension if he became a free agent. The Raptors are keeping him around for much less than that while Valanciunas gets a long-term contract and financial security. Sounds like a win for everyone involved.

I saw smog like that in Mexico and China- but NEVER America. I honestly did not know smog like that existed in American until I saw it in LA. SO GROSS. Its crazy how it just sits there too with the mountains making a big natural border.

the city of Vinci must be real! LOL

Well fuck me. $15 mil for a center who can't defend, can't force turnovers, gives the team a negative net rating when he's on the floor and so forth. That's the going rate for 11 pts and 8 rebounds. Wow.

its just ridiculous. the craziest thing too is that- while 15M is a lot- like the article said- he would have gotten more if he got to free agency healthy next year.

It didn't burn. How nasty does a place have to be for water to burn? :pound:

some people like living in a big city.

if that means disgusting smog, earthquakes, masses of illegals, inflated prices, insane traffic, I will pass!

Try Solon, Ohio. Consistently one of the top "Small Towns" to live in the entire nation according to USA Today. I think in 2015 they had Solon ranked 10th in the Nation. It had been as high as 3rd before and is, if i remember correctly- always in the top 20 from year to year.

You won't see any movie stars here that is for sure- but instead of choking on smog you can visit some of the most beautiful metroparks in country etc.

silly me- but rolling blackouts and water shortages and droughts seem less than fun! LA is fun to visit- I was out there just 3-4 years ago- but to me anyway, its a fun place to visit- would not live there.

thats a picture i took in the metro's last fall about 3 minutes from where I live....absolutely stunning in the fall. Winter can be a b**** no doubt- but I would never want to give up the changing of the seasons.

to me- it seems like anyway- if you really want to enjoy LA you need boku dollars.

well,*cough*choke*, i must say i've had my fill of "small towns" in my time, but eh, not all that exciting so i'll allow you to have it...

as far as all that other "frightening stuff" you mentioned, seems i have enough water to drink and shower with, i'll take an earthquake over a tornado, inflation is EVERYWHERE, and traffic ain't a bother if you simply leave on time...

but hey, i'm glad you brought out this comparison. no doubt about it, you're a credit to this board. DO keep up the good work...

Lmao, being close to the beach and experiencing great weather is so terrible. Oh, how we wish we lived in Ohio. Your stupidity knows no bounds. You live in fear of earthquakes, you must be a brave man.

Milsap is a beast and the rest of those guys are Centers. You are an expert at backpedaling.

The fact is that the Cavs are about to spend 90 mil on a bench player, you can't spin that.
