Only my opinion, but i think you guys are in for a decent season ...Barring injury of course...
I definitely think the Heat will win more than the 37 games they won last year....if they stay healthy like you said- they might even make the playoffs unless heavyweights Boston and Brooklyn beat them again, lol

Riley failed to upgrade the roster. Its one of the reasons why LeBron left. You think its by accident the Cavs traded over a year ago for the Haywood contract?

the best center Riley ever gave LeBron was Joel Anthon- and the best point guard Mario Chalmers. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE if Riley is not criminally negligent in how he put that last team together- LeBron wins it for the Heat despite Dwade dumping in his pants - and he is forced into coming back to repeat.

You just don't get it and never will.
We never SUCKED long enough to accumulate a bunch of just drafted players or future top draft picks to trade for players or expiring contracts.

Who did you trade to get Haywood?

The Big 3 had to meet with Elisburg for hours just to make the money work to be able to add UD and Miller.

Prove to all hear that you aren't the clown we all accuse you to be.

Tell us any move or dare I say 2 that Riley could have done after 2010 which could have allowed us to make that substantial upgrade.

Funniet yet Wiggy, if the Heats roster was so weak while James here, would you care to explain the 4 straight trips to the Finals that included 2 championship?
I think in the 4 years James was here, we lost a grand total of once to the Cavs, and I believe that was a late season game where we prob sat players.

Instead, we have to hear how fucking great your owner and roster are, yet you still have the giant goose egg where it matters.

how about sign and draft better players than Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony and Rashard Lewis and Greg Oden. How about you find loopholes like the Cavs did with Haywood.

Remember when you guys had to attach a first rounder to Anthony just to get him off the team after giving him that ridiculously stupid contract?

Leaving the midlevel exception unused because your Owner is too cheap to pay luxury tax on it THE YEAR before LeBron becomes a free agent. I mean that was beyond stupid.

What probably was the case more than Riley actually is Arison's unwillingness to pay into the tax. Riley guessed wrong on all his vet minimum signings- and players were willing to take paycuts to go there and get a ring- and you come up with Rashrad Lewis and Greg Oden? Give mario Chalmers near 30 minutes a night when you can EASILY buy a 2nd round pick to draft a point guard during a time where the point guard position is perhaps the deepest it has ever been.

I could just imagine LeBron- wait, we are amnestiying Miller and NOT using our mid level this offseason? I took a paycut so Mickey Arison can make more money? unreal.

The actual stat is 33 - 3 to finish the season... when LeBron, Love, and Kyrie all play.

They only lost 9 games after LeBron came back in the lineup on Jan 15th.... the majority of those losses coming with one or more of the 'big 3' resting.

Oh, okay. I kept seeing this 30-3, which didn't sound right, so I checked the last 33 games of the season and saw they were 24-9 over that span (which is still pretty darn good).

Actually, the Cavs fan during James round 1 in Cleveland are the worst I have ever seen.
You guys now are a bit delusional but not near as obnoxious.

And what was so bad about the Heat fans?
We were pretty much not worried about any regular seasons after the first and we were critical of the Heats play when is was subpar.

Well I dont see how Cavs' fans are worse. All they ask for is to win one championship then they will be happy. I guess the hate comes along with the best player, obviously expected but most Cavs fans just want the drought to be over. 1 is enough.

Birdman was a center, and vastly better than Anthony, so wrong on that account. Plus, once again, how are the Heat supposed to significantly upgrade the roster when the cap is taken up by 3 players? The Heat had to make minor tweaks given that they beat the Spurs in 2013. That's what champs do, minor tweaking, not overhaul. This isn't the same situation that the Cavs are in. You can only do so much when you're in the Heat's situation. But once again, you refuse to understand that concept and blindly throw shit at the wall, hoping for it to stick. If you want to knock Wade for "dumping in his pants" (whatever the fuck that means), can we fault Lebron for 2011?

Just as I thought.
You came up with nothing but the same rhetoric.
Chalmers is fine ( and he was 2nd round), Anthony brought what he brought and the other signed for veterans minimums.

By the end of season 3 both Miller and Anthony were unneeded afterthoughts.
Miller couldn't even get on the court for you guys under your most dire of circumstances during the playoffs.
Gilbert will invest near 10M in him next year, I'll bet he's really thrilled about that.

Riley /Arison did what any prudent executive group would and should do.
The Heat were still elite and versatile.
Problem was, the Spurs were better.

And, for the 100th time, and it's fact, James was approached when the Miller amnesty was discussed and was not against it.

The draft pick that went along with Anthony turned into whom?

Our mid level I believe was only around the 3M dollar one.
Who did we miss getting?
The same type of player will sign for the veterans minimum if they are ring chasing.

It had been how long since a team went to 4 straight Finals?
How many teams in the modern era have won back to back?

You're great team has won what?

Stevie Wonder can see that James is back there because of the power he was promised.
He had zero interest in coming back here once he knew that.
His actions, as usual, spoke louder then his words or lack of them.

Wiggy, remember, suicide is not the answer. I figured I'd point it out since you've been getting owned on this forum more than usual today.

We both keep trying to explain the simplest of concepts to somebody so dense they just can't grasp it.

It's really getting to the point of why bother?

Scariest thing is, he's a step away from becoming a lawyer.

Not sure what kind, but I'd hate to need him to argue on my behalf.

I fault both of us, as we're both fucking idiots in the grand scheme of things. Never argue with an idiot, as they'll drag you down to there level, and they're more experienced at it.

I'm skeptical that he's really going to be a lawyer. Did you hear I'm going to be the CEO of Amazon next week?

See how that's done.

Then you shouldn't be grouped in with Wiggy.
He's coming right back off of his failed 70 win prediction with a prediction of at least 10 straight Finals appearances with a few rings as a Cav sprinkled in here and there.

You're goal and hope is much more realistic.
Just hope to get to 1.
