I, for one, and SHOCKED that Jim Irsay might have a substance abuse problem. His dad was such a moral straight arrow, that the #1 son driving under the influence of chemicals is literally unbelievable. :rollseyes:

Not a big surprise, with all those concussions he was trying to get back quickly - this suspension actually isn't a bad thing for him because he would have tried to come back too early, now he can rest and get ready for Week 5

Not sure that there's any positive to taking an amphetamine when concussed...might actually be worse.

It's stealing money for Orton who chose to retire instead of being the 2nd string QB for the Cowboys this season. I couldn't believe Manuel was taken in the 1st round, but I had no idea he was this bad after 1 season. Sorry Bills fans. I guess it could be a long year. When will the GM be fired?

I'm still not going to throw in the towel yet on Manuel. There are plenty of good to great QB's who didn't look that great in their rookie Season.

You also have to take into consideration that he's only started 9 games, and was battling a knee injury that kept him out each time. Stranger things have happened, but I'm hoping with the Orton singing, this could help and motivate him to be a better QB? I know he sure as hell didn't have any pressure of losing his job to Tuel or Lewis.

Ultimately though, this is the Bills we are talking about, so he's obviously going to end up a bust.

According to the story involving the Kentucky Derby it was not taken in any kind of attempt to get better.



Also, Cowboys signed Michael Sam to their practice squad. Giant, Gay, Black man in Texas. No way that's going to go poorly.

The fact that he's not a captain is a bad sign. The starting QB needs to be somebody everyone on the team believes in.

My personal prediction is Brady has a monster year. Everyone is down on him after last year but the Patriots had a lot of stuff happen last year. Hernandez goes to jail, Gronk misses the first half of the season instead of only 1 or 2 games, they lost Welker and his replacement Amendola was injured the entire year. Then you throw in 2 rookie receivers that dropped everything that came their way. I think Brady had something crazy like 17 guys tackled at the 1 yard line. I think Brady bounces back big time this year.

Start Wilson vs. Green Bay tonight, or start Luck @ Denver on Sunday. I need to hit on this pick as the guy I'm going up against has the highest projected lineup score this week in my league.

I'd probably go Luck just because Wilson doesn't necessarily translate to a great fantasy QB. He manages games and keeps plays alive which is everything you want in a QB, just not in fantasy football. I'd go with Luck even though the matchup isn't ideal. I could see that being an "upset" game.

I would agree. Barring a spectacular matchup, Wilson is generally only good as a fantasy backup.

/Would love him in a Bills uniform though.
