I like your beard.
Assuming it's Luck vs Wilson?

Was it only the Pats side deflating them? I mean, the refs check all balls put in play. This is pretty much the stupidest thing to get super jammed up about. Of course, my Indy friends took to facebook to 1) request the entire Pats team be drug tested and 2) say Belichek shouldn't make the HoF one day because he has no integrity RE: running up the score.
Leaked report says 11 of the 12 balls used by the Pats under-inflated:
NFL Reportedly Finds 11 of 12 Balls Used in AFC Championship Were Under-Inflated | Bleacher Report
Don't know exactly what the league is going to do, but I'd imagine it will be pretty serious. I don't buy into any of this "put the Colts in the SB" stuff that some people are spouting because under-inflated balls isn't going to result in an extra 38 points. But, assuming that this report is accurate, they need to be punished severely.
"under-inflated balls" that nobody could feel were under-inflated?
talk about a non-story. the goober in charge of filling the balls probably didn't calibrate his gage. what could 1/4 psi less pressure possibly do to improve your chances of winning a football game?

Did you even read the article? It was 2 lbs of pressure, not 1/4, and it says right in there that an under-inflated ball is easier to grip in inclement weather, like the heavy rain they had during the game. It also says how when one of the balls made its way to the Indy sideline following an interception that the Colts noticed it and reported it.
guilty
read an espn article earlier that said none of those things. shame on me.

even still, any advantages or disadvantages would be shared by the colts and patriots yes? I can't imagine the colts only used the 1 ball out of 12 that was properly inflated when they were on offense.
To me though this still has to be on the league. The officials had to have handled the footballs during the game. If they were deflated when they were inspected then that's an even bigger problem. The league has to be careful how they handle this because I can see them being equally at fault.
I dont understand how Luck or a colts rb wasnt the first to notice it ? I didnt read the article but i heard a colts lb noticed it first
Former punter Mitch Berger was on the radio saying he would pay the ball boy $100 to make sure he got the balls that he had scuffed up the way he liked pregame in order to make the balls go farther. He said ballboys would use the helmet hand pumps to deflate balls all the time after the game started
Haha, I'll give you a pass on this one because I don't think the article mentions it.
Each team provides 12 game balls to the officials for their team to use on offense, so the Colts would have been using different balls. The league rules allow for some variation in the pressure and they also allow for some small variation in the way/degree to which the balls are "scuffed."
So basically, each team can - to a minor degree - prepare the balls to their preference.
Don't they use their own balls? As I understand it, each offense uses its own balls so Luck would have never handled Brady's balls.
