The man is just incredible. He is healthy and absolutely dominated when his number was called tonight. They couldn't stop him last year and he put on a show tonight. Guy only had 4 carries in the first half as CMR and Co. were trolling Clemson by keeping him fresh for the second half while getting looks at the young guys we have behind him.

TGII ended up with more total yards and points than the entire Clemson offense.

15 Carries
198 Yards
13.2 Average
3TD's. 298 total yards, 4 TD's and the best back in College Football.

An absolute show tonight. If you missed this game, watch the replay. He is a man amongst children.:suds:

He would have went to North Carolina if they hadn't cheated and gotten in trouble. Good job being his 2nd favorite though. :thumb:

Nice stats but Gurely is a bit Glassy. We shall see how he holds up to that "SEC" schedule.

Gordon and Abdullah are good backs in their own right, but they are not the complete package that Gurley is.

For Gurley to win the Heisman, he will need 2,000 yds rushing or 1800 yds and an undefeated (13-0) Georgia come December.

SEC East is like playing the ACC - they play the bottom half of the West. He will be in NY a few months from now. Does he win the Heisman? Time will tell.

That must be why our coaches handed Gordon the ball twice in the last 29 minutes...they are keeping him "fresh" for Western Illinois next week.

Gordon, Abdullah, and Gurley are all great backs. You can't judge a season after one week, but certainly none of them gave any reason to think they can't be in New York at the end of the year. When the top three backs combine for 570 yards on 52 carries and two of them played ranked opponents, people should take some notice.

He is a beast, he should touch the ball way more than he did in that game.

I like the plan in place. UGa has four, 5 star RBs, plus this little scat back type dude. Run them all, all game, with Gurley the most touches.

Also, the limited touches has to do with breaking off a bunch of TD runs of 40+ yards. That tends to limit the number of touches.

Good start, 14 games to go.

I think Abdullah and Gurley will be the 2 best backs this season.
