I just don't see why the Rangers would need another winger. What they need is defense, and what Anaheim needs is defense. Soooo...what? I swear the Rangers just like getting big name players, no matter if they really need that player. I just don't think that Sather is building a team to win a Cup, he's building a team of hype. I mean, Gaborik, Richards, guys like that? Maybe it's just part of the NY hype.

Actually Buffalo makes a lot of sense to me. They have a deep roster & prospect pool. There are all kinds of offers Regier could make. He could involve guys like Stafford, Ennis, Gerbe, Adam, Kassian, Gragnani, McNabb, Pysyk, Armia a 1st round pick. I think Buffalo can match or beat any offer from the Rangers or anyone else if they want too.
