I have a feeling this is the year we start to see a regression in Calvin Johnson.

There were a few times last season where I thought we were watching that regression.
Then he'd blow up and dominate the game/stat sheet/fantasy teams with a monster game.

The end is definitely closer than ever, and the years of beating double and triple teams and taking hits are piling up. One of the main reasons I managed to deal Megatron for Dez + picks in my keeper league.

Took the Belicheck approach - I'd rather lose the guy a year early then try to move him a year late.

We saw him break down a little bit last year with some game time decisions on nagging injuries.
Hopefully he had a nice full off-season of stretching and working out to stay on top, cause he is amazing to watch play the game in the air.

You know what? After a closer look, I think I have Roddy White too low. I can see slotting him in at 13, right ahead of Larry. Those Tony Gonzo RZ targets aren't all going to Toilolo or whatever his name is.... which reminds me, I haven't really checked in on the Falcons' TE situation very deeply yet.

You have Emmanuel Sanders way too low!!!!!! 45th ranked WR? If he stays healthy i cant see why he wouldnt end up as a top 25 wideout. Just my opinion tho, nice thread TKO

I guess I should stop doing rankings so early.

Roddy to 13
Harvin to 17

Others involved, drop one spot each.

It's never too early for rankings. Just gotta make adjustments to your framework accordingly.

1. Calvin Johnson, Det
2. Demaryius Thomas, Den
3. A.J. Green, Cin
4. Dez Bryant, Dal
5. Jordy Nelson, GB (say what you will, he's just awesome)
6. Brandon Marshall, Chi
7. Julio Jones, Atl (show me!)
8. Randall Cobb, GB
9. Michael Floyd, Ari (my breakout special)
10. Alshon Jeffery, Chi (still great, but I don't see an improvement on last year)
11. Antonio Brown, Pit
12. Pierre Garcon, Was
13. Larry Fitzgerald, Ari
14. Wes Welker, Den
15. Michael Crabtree, SF
16. Vincent Jackson, TB
17. Keenan Allen, SD
18. T.Y. Hilton, Ind
19. Victor Cruz, NYG
20. Julien Edelman, NE (the "unsexiest" pick in the draft)
21. Roddy White, Atl
22. Terrance Williams, Dal
23. Torrey Smith, Bal
24. DeSean Jackson, Was
25. Reggie Wayne, Ind
26. Cordarrelle Patterson, Min
27. Percy Harvin, Sea
28. Jermaine Kearse, Sea (I understand this makes most of you laugh)
29. Kenny Stills, NO (surprise! first Saints receiver)
30. Rueben Randle, NYG
31. Andre Johnson, Hou ? (obviously a change in scenery may help, but I hate holdouts)
32. Kelvin Benjamin, Car (wouldn't be shocked to see him in the top 24)
33. Eric Decker, NYJ
34. Kendall Wright, Ten
35. Tavon Austin, StL (Foot must be getting to me!)
36. Marcus Wheaton, Pit
37. Jeremy Maclin, Phi
38. Marques Colston, NO
39. Brandin Cooks, NO
40. Mike Wallace, Mia (a very poor man's V-Jax)
41. Jarrett Boykins, GB
42. Aaron Dobson, NE (wouldn't shock me to see him in the top 30)
43. Sammy Watkins, Buf
44. Andre Caldwell, Den (yup)
45. Emmanuel Sanders, Den
46. Dwayne Bowe, KC (lucky he's even here)
47. Anquan Boldin, SF
48. Mike Evans, TB
49. Golden Tate, Det
50. Brian Hartline, Mia

To be honest, I don't like the look of anyone from the mid 30's on... definitely would move Tavon and Wheaton down under Wallace.

But for sure, out goes Dobson (can't trust him), Watkins (E.J. looks like J.P.) and in goes Andre Holmes (looks like he'll be the standout WR in Oak) and I think I'll give Kenny Britt a shot (the Fisher factor might be real).

Michael floyd is a popular breakout this season... But my question is can there be 2 top 15 WRs in arizona?? They do have 6 games in that division of the best defenses...

So does that mean the fall of larry fitzgerald, or the NOT breakout season for Michael floyd??

I would go with the not break out season...

Good point. I still think they can both have 1000 yards and close to 20 TD's between them. Last year, they combined for 2000 yards and 15 TD, and were both in the top 24, and I guarantee more than 5 TD from Floyd this year.
