Palmer had been mentioned by many as a possible HC candidate at one point a long time ago before things blew up in Tennessee.

If that happened and the Titans didn't have Locker, I'd say Smith should go there. But with Locker there, it would be like Kaep all over again and that would only be if Smith started.

Me too. I was baffled when they hired him. I figured it would lead to Munchak getting canned.
Palmer, Couch and Carr. That should have been the end of the line for him.
