Tired of us getting a new head coach

I hate to say this, but I am starting to get a little nervous about Bo.

These are his recruits using his system.

I am tired of going through the new head coach transition period, new staff, new systems.

I liked Frank, but never thought he was the right pick. I feel like TO forced Frank on us a little bit. I was excited about Callahan at first, but that faded pretty quickly.

I am still excited about Bo, but what is going on. He said last year that a defense this year would be better then last year. He is a defensive guy and our defense was so good for two years, then boom.

I don't want our football program to be a revolving door for head coaches.

But I am starting to get a little nervous about Bo.

To the OP I agree with you completely and I am willing to put the blame on the youth of our staff including Pelini. I believe that Pelini (Bo) took his attention off the defense to focus on an anemic offense.

The problem though is he has got to have the staff in place to have strength on both sides of the ball and I don't believe he has that. And I am not willing to go after Carl. I think Carl is also a defensive genius from some of the games he has called. I do believe that there is weaknesses on his staff that were not of his choosing (Carl). Bo I believe is placing more emphasis on friendship and character than on proven experience when hiring.

Not that the first two are not important but the latter is just as important for a major player. We have coaches with no experience basically from top down who are still learning their positions. And the result is evident on the field. An experiment can not guarantee results. I am expecting results in the fourth year of a staff but should not I guess because the experiment is still being changed each year and it seems with the kids on the field on a weekly basis.

That doesn't mean I am happy about it. It means I see what I think is the problem. Nebraska should not be a test lab or a proving ground yet that is exactly what we are now.

I would like to sit up from my recliner that I have been lounging in watching the show over the last couple days and say that although my name is in this new guy's screen name I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I don't even know the guy. I know FNG but not his boss. Although I am a pathological liar so I am sure it falls back on me some how.

BTW, with a new guy showing up, should FNG change his name since he is no longer actually the FNG?
