I actually like the Hawks to win the Cup, so it will be great for us and for Timonen if that is the case.

As long as they keep suiting him up! (which I think they will)

Plus, probably getting pretty close to that 50% barrier regardless. He's played in what, 9 games so far? They only need 9 more wins to win the cup. 4-5 more games and he should be in a good spot for 50% regardless of what they do after that.

Rozsival's broken ankle pretty much ensures that Timonen will continue seeing his 7 minutes per game.

I guess you can look at this in a couple of ways. Timonen more than likely will get a ring because I just don't see the Hawks losing. For us Timonen fans, unfortunately we won't see him him at all on the ice during the Finals. I think his time is done this season and possibly for good.

Good trade for us. At this point in his career plus his cap hit we made out pretty good here. Hopefully he does to in winning a cup.

Kimmo has finally got his ring. I so happy for the guy and he now has ring and he is retiring. They are showing him on the tube right now. Congrats to Kimmo for all those years toiling away. Sometimes in sports, good guys finish FIRST!
