Let him compete for the #2 job and have our staff work to develop him.
I'm not even saying anything about a thought at Dalton's job, bring him in only to know that the #2 job is his to EARN.
This should push Dalton to improve. Also, work Tebow in on some TE plays, bring him in as a FB and it will give our offense a little unknown. As our offense stands, it's pretty given fact that we are either going to run the ball or pass to AJ Green. At least with Tebow lined up, we would keep offenses guessing.
I'd think if he develops into something, he would be a pretty loyal guy to the organization. No loyalty clauses needed.
As to him being a distraction, couldn't be much worse than CJ, or Dillion?

I would keep him as a backup over John Skelton; however, Skelton has has marginal success as a backup already, and we've already made our bed with him and the guy from Tampa Bay.

I want to see Tebow go to Montreal, sit behind that old fart there for awhile, learn how to play a little bit, and then he can take over for that guy next year. He'll prove that he can learn to throw, the media will stop talking about him every day and he'll be back in the NFL when his contract is up.

June likes to stir up stuff, but every once in awhile she sees things, like predicting Kurt Warner's AFC championship success. or not giving up on a certain kicker.

For the record, dillon and ocho were both productive for their circuses, and still were run out of town. Tebow brings nothing.

The real problem with Tebow isn't neccessarily his ability, it's the distraction that comes with him. I'm sure plenty of teams would love to have his personality in their locker room and have him as a backup or 3rd string. What they don't want is the onslaught of the media at training camp, and hounding players and coaches the first time the starter has a bad game.

If he does play again it has to be a team like Green Bay or New England where there is no question who the QB is and their position as the alpha male won't be challenged, and also where the media won't be a problem. GB isn't big enough to have it make much of a difference and Belichick and company are as good as it gets when it comes to holding the media at bay.

If he comes to New England I'll be pissed. He's not a QB, and all the make believe in the world doesn't change that.

A source tells Yahoo Sports that Patriots coach Bill Belichick "hates" Tim Tebow as a player.

Even though Patriots OC Josh McDaniels is the one that drafted Tebow 25th overall while in Denver, a reunion isn't happening. But flawed mechanics aren't the only reason Tebow has zero NFL suitors right now. "He seems like a great guy to have on a team, and I'd be tempted to bring him in as our backup," one NFC head coach told Yahoo. "But it's just not worth dealing with all the stuff that comes with it." Tebowmania strikes again.

He should have said he loved Tebow. Then Peyton would have been begging the Broncos to bring him back.

All Tebow really haters do is repeat what other people in the media like Mel Kiper say. Yes, there are some "experts" that recognize that his throwing is very raw and needs a lot of development, but most of the haters are just parrots who hate him for some intangible reason.

he's not half as bad as people say, and he does bring "something" to the table, to say otherwise is to admit to either extreme prejudice or stupidity.

I think the Bears would be a good fit for Tebow. If they win, they typically win with a strong defense and running game. The style in Chicago reminds me of the 99-2000 Ravens, with Dilfer. Chicago could play their type of football, let Tebow basically hand the ball off or keep it for a run and not make mistakes. If he develops as a passer, so much the better. If he doesn't, then decide if you want a passing QB, but if your winning with a Dilfer type offense, don't worry about his passing.
He would be a good QB to plug into that type of offense provided you have a strong defense.

any "intelligent" team would benefit from using him as a fullback or backup qb, if they can somehow squelch the media hype.

my hope is for him to back up Calvillo in Montreal though, Calvillo is an old freaking man. Tebow can learn the CFL game, work on his accuracy, and be ready for Tebow time in one year.

He insists on being a QB when he can't throw. You could find several punters better able to throw the football than tim tebow. He brings less than nothing as a QB and refuses to consider any other position.

File that under "blind squirrel."

I don't hate Tebow, but I do hate the mania and hype that fans and the media have put on him, which is mostly unwarranted. He isn't half as bad as some people say, but he is way less than half as good as some others say.

I do know better. I know June's schtick, which is exactly why the blind squirrel comment fits. Whether accidentally blind, or purposefully blind, it's still blind.
