Once he was converted to a reliever in early July he pitched 21.2 innings before coming up. He gave up 5 hits and 6 walks in that time. He struck out 28 in that time. As a starter he had a WHIP of 1.56 this season. As a reliever his WHIP was 0.51. He has found his calling it appears.
