Hopefully red-shirting all of these guys coming up will be enough experience to be decent right this instant.

With this Offense we are returning, it would be a shame if we missed on such an opportunity with an easy schedule to have a special season.

We will lose 4 games by January 2nd, 2014.... Book fucking market

Ye lost all credibility already, HH........you said we would go 8-4 at best, 7-5 more likely in the regular season this year.

Other than the TE position I don't see any other losses that will hurt the Huskers. Sure experience is great to have, but if that experience sucks, then I'll take talent every time.
The new guys coming up have 5 home games to get in the flow if big time football. I think we'll be just fine.

Like Compton said on Big Red Wrap-up last night.

It's complex X's and O's for Bo's defense.

I've felt for a long time that the Fixtures weren't the most talented guys in their repective positions. They'd just been around long enough (experience) to know the X's and O's better in practice.
Judging by the mass confusion on the field at times, that's not saying much.

As Bo would say when asked "What happened out there", he would answer "I wish I knew".

I'm in hopes he simplifies things (to a reasonable college level) and puts playmakers on the field.

The offense needs to limit turnovers that kill drives or that gives opponents the short field.

The defense needs to get better upfront and be able to adjust on the fly before the game turns to blowout.

Do those things and they can give Bo his first 11 win season and potentially a BCS At Large.

I don't think Bo is going to have any choice but to simplify the scheme with all the young talent.

I have yet to see that Bo's scheme can be "fresh talent friendly" with the exception of a handful of JUCO guys who are currently in the NFL.

Really not worried about the secondary at all. It's the completely stripped down and rebuilt front seven.

What's encouraging is that group can't be any worse than last year...

The talent, size, and speed will be upgraded. Bo has been pretty matter of fact about that. He thinks it's the best looking group he's had (In the front seven) since he's been here.

The DT's though....

Think about it we return only two guys who got significant playing time. Rome and Randle.

I think it's possible if Randle could stay healthy he could have a break out season. He could be that anchor in the middle maybe.

Valentine and Curry are clear upgrades and need as many reps as they can handle.

Papuchis has said they feel comfortable when they have about 5 DT's they can rotate in and not see a clear drop off. When you talk about Bo's history of keeping his DT's healthy through a whole season it's not very good so (as everyone knows) we desperately need a couple JUCO guys who can come in and play immediately.

To be fair, none of us knew that our Offensive Line would be beat to a pulp.....

We also didn't know Taylor was going to kick a stripper pole.

Had you told me that before the season started, I would have said 3 losses at the best.
