Good move for the Giants - surprised the Braves didn't re-sign him but I like this for the Giants

So Huddy is our 4, which pushes Timmeh up to 3.

meh...

I assume this means that Mark Mulder will sign a deal with us going into 2016?

It's a little pricey but I like it, although price is all inflated because of the market.

Hudson can mentor Bumgarner more (not that he needs it) and we get a nice No.4

Is he even available? And if he is, Would Bean trade him to the Giants?

I think not...

I still want a guy like Hughes or Heran to come in and add depth to the rotation. Timmeh and Huddy are somewhat question marks, so we need to go in with 5 solid knowing that the 6/7 will get opportunities to get in.

Huddy's last 4 years: Year, IP, ERA

2010: 228, 2.83
2011: 215, 3.22
2012: 179, 3.62
2013: 131, 3.97

So, therefore, clearly we should have him throw as many innings as possible.

Hate to admit it, but this was a good signing by SF. He'll fit in nicely in your rotation. Not sure what's going on with his injury status though. Is he fully recovered yet?

Got some bad info; he's got a team option at $7.5 the A'ss will pick up.

Sigh....ok, bring me JLo and McLouth

He had the screw removed from his ankle a few days ago, and "should be running in a month".

Heran is a real possibility, from what I'm reading.

Having Timmeh/Huddy/Heran as a 3/4/5 is OK by me. We could go with the hot-hand in the playoffs, and allows for a Petit/Escobar/whomever to step up and offer some competition if earned/needed.

I think I may prefer Hughes, though. He has more upside than Heran.

I think Hughes is fading and that Haran is poised for a good year.
