I'm not talking about intentions. I genuinely believe he didn't know he was breaking the rules. But haven't TV viewers called in before and called out other mistakes before, and said players have been DQed similarly? I'm just looking for some consistency here, but this screams of "star treatment".

If he wasn't Tiger Woods, the camera wouldn't be filming his every shot and his every word, so this probably wouldn't have been an issue.

Then why didn't Tiger drop where he initially hit the ball the first time? For an advantage. Yes, I played College golf and some Professional Tournaments. 4 feet makes a big difference.
