Wow - just so bizarre. Now certainly Tiger could falter this week & be nowhere near the lead. However if he were to somehow pull this off his drought would be the exact same as Mickelson - too weird.

Again we live in an era where networks talk about the same topics over and over again & love controversy so yep they probably love to see this kind of crap. I could have sworn that on one of the putts yesterday where Tiger left it short someone yelled "Does your husband also golf" - Good Lord.

Her take is pretty flawed since 1. she states that Tiger has not won in over 10 years (refuted in the comments to state he has won 18 times during that period) 2. states that Spieth didn't participate (he played in Tiger's group 1st 2 rds & missed the cut) & 3. declared Corey Connors as the winner of the tourney (he finished T-16 - 7 shots back).

Hating is fine but for God's sake come prepared to avoid looking like a complete idiot.

Rory on abusive fans: Time to limit booze sales

Rory goes off on these type of fans. Some good related comments on this one - 1. someone suggested don't worry so much about limiting alcohol - rather start booting fans who are abusive - you will likely see a decrease in this behavior & 2. Rory probably just made life a little more difficult for himself - expect worse taunts & reaction to him moving fwd since he commented on this (& several have portrayed him as somewhat of a phony & a jerk).

As a side note, I'm going to Augusta this year. My goal was always to hit a Ryder Cup and a Masters. I'm hitting them both up in a year and a half.

That makes no sense to me outside of a Ryder or Presidents Cup event. I guarantee none of the golfers care what country the winner is from if they're not that guy. Anyone can just show up at the gate and buy a ticket if they want make a spectacle of themselves at most events. They can't do that at The Masters.. or any major ftm.

He just had a putt from off the green that hit the pin dead center and stayed out. It would have probably gone in if it had been tended and pulled like most of the guys do with putts like that. The announcer asked how did it stay out, but didn't even mention that he failed to have it tended like they usually do. Strange oversight.
