It's kinda strange offensive coordinators lose focus on what team they're calling plays for. Cam Newton hardly ran the ball. I thought the read option might have ran Denver's defense out of their stop Stewart defense. It might have opened up other offense. Offensive coordinators in 49ers vs Ravens, Seattle vs Patriots, and Broncos vs. Panthers super bowls seemed to forget what their team's personality and what got them to a Super Bowl......Gore was ignored on the 49ers last drive.....Lynch should have won the game for Seattle....And Cam carried the ball how many times on designed runs in their loss?
Cam didn't want too much attention after the loss....He didn't dive after the fumble...And another so called running QB, failed.....He had a great year.....But when forced to throw out of the pocket he seemed lost.....RGlll,Kaepernick,and Cam......They had great offenses, when they ran the read option....Out of all QBs, Wilson seems to be the only QB to progress into a pocket QB.
If it hadn't been close, and a defensive shootout, the game was a pathetic Super Bowl...Cam thinks he's a different kinda QB, that the NFL has never seen before........ah no....and it goes to show, that a QB who can throw for high percentage in the pocket, is still very important in the NFL
