Sure we can beat the Browns and the Browns can beat us as well, that wasn't the point of my post. You seem to be implying we have a top notch defense already after 2 games in which said defense hasn't really been tested running-wise. I'm saying hold off on that proclamation of the defense being top notch because in the next 2 weeks, and actually 3 weeks playing the Rams after the Ravens. We'll have a far clearer picture on whether or not the run defense has improved.

Cuz if we can't defend against the run well. I don't care if we end up getting 65 sacks for the year with multiple players having a double digit sack season. We're gonna have problems overall stopping teams from moving the ball and scoring.

Exactly , and add to it the browns have Chubb. And Hunt , Hooper at Te , Landry and OBJ at wr and a better o/line . They have. Garrett on defense and a good secondary . Beating the browns will be tough and truth be told they are a better football team

ok and ????? Being avg takes us out of the top LT. Or guard or TE. Or safety or wr , even qb . We need to understand what we truly are and direct draft Capitol to upgrade the talent rather then chasing avg

its alright not to give up on a contending team after 2 weeks . i dont advocate that at all but lets acknowledge we are a building team and winning 8 games cheaply sets us back more then winning 4 and finding out about some guys

I think we match up better with the Browns than people think. Mayfield is basically a pocket passer, and thus our d line will be in play for most of the game.
It’s the running, improvisational qb’s that will give the WFT fits because the back seven defenders arent that great.

While Chubb and Hunt are awfully tough, I think the key to the game is to force Mayfield onto a spot, and make him beat you. Play up on the LOS, since neither OBJ or Landry are burners (though they are both excellent wrs) and stop the run.

The Bengals couldn't beat the Eagles, but WFT did. What do you make of that?
