I'm serious, vent on him, it's been over a month sick we've had an epic meltdown. We're over do for another.

DPD says Chip Kelly is a genius with a plan-->Chip Kelly trashes the roster, gets fired before the season is over.
DPD says Howie Roseman is to blame for everything-->Roseman proceeds to have a nearly epic offseason.

So clearly if DPD says "left", you know "right" is the way to go. And it's okay to have a different opinion . It's perfectly fine to be wrong about every single thing you post about. But DPD goes beyond that in that he doesn't let these things go. EVER. Facts are presented. He ignores them and/or starts a new thread or trash somebody else's thread to rehash these established topics. THAT, is why people support your ban. You're draining.

Sigh...so this is typical of the misinformation I deal with regularly there.

Tebow was cut from the Jets, Patriots and Eagles. That is 3 not 5.

Evan Mathis was cut from the Eagles after skipping the offseason program and demanding a raise. He took a job at less than half the pay with the Broncos and benched for about a quarter of the season because he sucked. He came around in time for the playoffs, but now again is unemployed and no one seems in a hurry to hire him.

I stated that the 2015 OL replacements were as good as the 2014 guys were in 2015. And given that Herremans was cut by the Colts, and Mathis was benched in Denver, is probably true. The Eagles were screwed with any of these guys playing Guard.

Kelly's trashing of the roster was pretty good overall. Herremans, Fletcher, Williams, Mathis, Cole, Allen...the guys Kelly cut were all either cut or benched on their new teams. Kelly did a pretty good job of cutting the dead wood. He definitely got the better player in the Foles/Bradford trade. Maclin went to KC as a FA as part of the tampering deal. McCoy was traded, and ended up and while the Eagles lost on that deal, McCoy missed 4 games and failed to gain a thousand yards. Murray/Mathews more than replaced him, although they all sucked.

Epic Offseason? Really? Too soon to tell really, but spending $186M guaranteed on 11 players with exactly one pro bowl appearance between them is alot of money for speculative value. Got give him cred though for getting something for Murray, Maxwell, Alonso, and Sanchez. But to be fair, the value there is largely because the deals they struck under Kelly's leadership actually resulted in tradeable contracts even after last year's poor season.

At the end of the day, these are differences of opinion. Not normally the sort of things you ban a guy for. I thought Philly guys were tough? Turns out at least these ones can't handle a little criticism. Easier to banish the guy. A little family bickering gone too far perhaps. We have been chatting together for alot of years. I should probably lay off the truth telling for a while as its probably only going to get uglier in Philly this year.

Seems way out of line IMO for a mod to be worrying about the "vibe". More or less just stated I did nothing wrong. Just didn't like what I had to say. Anywhere I can go to complain about a mod overstepping their bounds?

We've all been pretty impressed with Howie Roseman's ability to take out the trash and actually trade Chip era guys like Mark Sanchez, Demarco Murray and Kiko Alonzo. So there is some offseason optimism. That's apparently killing DPD, who claims he is now a Niners fan, but has this pathological need to come back and troll our forum (because, truth is, he is really still an Eagles fan, just a butthurt one).

As usual Igloo analyzes the situation better than most. I have not come to grips with my fandom yet. I am fine with moving on from the Eagles, but I am not on board with the 49ers yet. (Despite the cool shirts my wife bought me).

As much as I think the Eagles moves this offseason are wrong, at least they are doing something and it is interesting.

And while I get that I may be being a bitch here, I seem to have alot of company. These ignore buttons seem to work just fine for those that don't want to hear from me. But no. Banning and these personal attacks seem to be the style of the day for these Eagles Fans.

Why not PM your board mod and try and work the issue out if it's fixable. Perhaps the ban is only temporary on that board.

How do you come to that conclusion? Is it because your feelings were hurt? It is clear you have narcissistic tendencies otherwise why come whining on the NFL forum. You enjoy attention way too much. The problem here is that you have not managed to find anyone to agree with your side of it.

Wings did the right thing and if you really paid attention you would see that what you were doing here is something that would have got you banned on KFFL as well. The Eagles board tends to be one of the most active on any sports forum site and the group that are here have posted a long time together. One thing we did not tolerate was threads that were created with the sole purpose of flaming the board or causing issues (something you have done repeatedly). It is a standard rule and you know it. It was always listed on our rule list. I know because for a while I was a Mod there as well for a while. Some of the most respected posters no longer posted because of you. So the "Vibe" was that as a whole you were a major problem on the forum and Wings did the smart thing by getting rid of you. You have been warned repeatedly IIRC by Wings to cut your nonsense out. I hope you were not expecting something official like a warning letter on sportshoopla letterhead.
