Honestly though, this shit is all over New England radio. I am going to reserve my opinion for now on him thinking about taking a season off. I truly hope either A. He is not dealing with an allness of some sort, or B. His children aren't dealing with some illness that they have to relocate to Colorado to treat or something. Just seems so weird, last minute to make this decision.

Regardless of what anyone in this room thinks, he is an extremely stand up guy. Honorable and with great values. He has done a lot for New England when it comes to charities and giving to the communities. You guys can badger him all you want with this ridiculous political garbage. What it all boils down to is he is a free man able to make his own decisions. He shouldnt have to do something he doesn't like or support. If any of you have an issue with that, fuck you.

Regardless of what decision he makes, he will always be a stand up, great example of class. I truly wish him the best in whatever he does in the future, be it hang up the skates or go to a different team. I'll never forget his performance in 2011.

I mean, I agree with the decision he made, I'm just flabbergasted that it could've possibly created all this drama.

Jerry O'Connell - he was the fat kid from Stand by Me right? And he grows up to marry Rebecca Romijn? See kids, it's never too late.

he gets his wiener bitten off by a piranha ... then piranha senses the VD within and spits it out

/speaking of wiener consumption ... Happy Birthday Vlad Krutov

just figured it out: Tim Thomas will be Mitt Romney's running mate. self-made millionaire from blue-collar state. it all fits.

Now that's Change I can believe in. And he'd get some of those pesky Blue-States!

.@SuicidePass Could you imagine Vice President Tim Thomas? I feel like his governing style would be unorthodox yet quite successful.

Bahahaha

lets not get all political about all this

its pretty simple ... Timmay is taking time off to be with his family ... his 5 year old son is exhibiting gay tendencies and he wants to teach him that its best not to choose to be gay

Keep in mind if Thomas takes a year off that his contract still counts against the Bruins. They'd probably have to buy him out or something. Sure there's the idea of a trade, but maybe he sincerely wants a year off.

why get political when we can get both political and religious?!?

/I hope it is not anything health related with a member of Timmay's family...

Goalies of the past few SC finalists: Thomas, Luongo, Leighton, Niemi, Osgood, Fleury.

Pretty sure MAF may be the last guy standing with the team he made the Finals with by the end of July.

I still like the looks of Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, MAF better watch his back...
