I dont think this is allowed anymore

so switch that out with a 26th round draft pick and youre bang on ... not that there is a 26th round ... i mean a player that will never make it in the nhl

maybe this years isles first round pick

From the earliest age I can remember, I've wanted to be a hockey player. I've been blessed in my life to not only be able to live that dream, but to achieve more than I ever thought possible.

The singleminded focus that is necessary to accomplish a dream of this magnitude entails (by necessity) sacrifice in other areas and relationships in life.

At the age of 38, I believe it is time to put my time and energies into those areas and relationships that I have neglected. That is why at this time I feel the most important thing I can do in my life is to reconnect with the three F's.

Food, folks, and fun.

This is what I plan on doing over the course of the next year.

On top of this, I will continue to train using the ARP/POV system Evo Ultra Fit - Strength Rehab and Performace Training and work with G-Form Home - G-Form LLC in the development of protective equipment.

What does this portend for the future?

We'll see….God's will be done.

not tough to figure out, wayne....
- my wish that he did not have his name on the cup = slightly (very) biased
- my belief that he is a selfish coward? doesn't matter which team he would be on.
I am sick and tired of hearing about Tim Thomas, retire and fade into fucking oblivion already...
this works, too
if he gets suspended does his $5M count against the Cap? it will have to eventually.
correct. Bruins don't have to pay him if they suspend him, but the cap hit is unavoidable because he's an overage contract.
Islanders get to count $5M against their cap to reach the floor without paying a dime, Boston frees up $5M of cap space and goes gunning hard on the free agent market.
that makes way too much sense.

^ all that being said, i will give him credit for walking away from $3m, instead of going through the motions
(unless he's too dumb to realize that he is in fact walking away from the paychecks)

"Look at this economic outlook! It's dismal! We're heading for another Depression!"

"Okay Mr. Thomas, what's your new address? So we can send you your $5million you know..."

"Oh, no thank you."

In this new economy, money will be worthless. But before that, the value of goods, services, and homes will drop allowing Thomas to use his millions to stock up on grenades, water, and gold.

Ok enough already.

Thomas is a asshat for doing this to the Bruins but as far as his political views I am much closer to his then probably anyone else that follows SportsHoopla. If you dont understand the significance of the Euro dollar and what impact it will mean to the USA then you are ignorant ( Not you specifically Eddie more of a general)

China has already said they will be purchasing Oil with gold only on July 1. That is a kick right in the face of the UN and the USA. We are in for some crazy times for sure coming in our future and if anyone chooses to just dismiss it as radical than I would suggest you start doing some research. I wont go into details but I have been preparing for this shit for 10 years. Some may say I am nuts and crazy. Those same people that when the shit hits the fan will be at my door asking for a can of soup. They will not get it. I will watch out for my own. I will protect my own.

Sorry if this turned a bit into politics.

By that you mean family, friends, and fellow Bruins fans, right? Just give me a 12 gauge, I got your back.

We're just joking around. I'm a conservative. That said, I could very well be the one asking for soup...because I'm not going to be making a lot of money, and you know the educational system has failed me (AKA I'm forced to go to college, but take on lots debt to graduate).
