The good news is we're really not giving up a lot. I'm not going to fully enter panic mode yet, but I am obviously as frustrated as anyone else, especially given the new injuries. Once our offense turns things around and starts netting three to four a game, we're going to win a lot of games, I just hope it's not too late to save the season.

Good news for the Flyers is that the whole Metropolitan Division appears to be an embarrassment as well. Slow start for the Flyers, but really only 2 games back from the top spot. The way my Pens played last night against the Panthers was way worse than any of the games the Flyers have played so far. At least goaltending isn't the issue for the Flyers this season. The only thing the Flyers have to get better at is what they're best at: scoring goals.

I don't get why van Riemsdyk was quit on either. When he was a Flyer I thought he had potential to be a stud with Giroux. That's a head scratcher.

This team is just bad. It is a shame. Berube has them skating and playing with some effort, but they are just bad. I am not saying that there are not good players and players capable of good to great things, but as a combination of parts....bad.
