You can still compare how well each of them plays. Will Q Williams turn out to be the dominant player that some of his supporters claim he will be? Williams may not get the same number of sacks but you can still rate him overall to the others that play his position

I like Williams a lot but for the 49ers' needs in particular, in my mind, there was no question that they should take Bosa.

I was neutral on it but my position was if they took Williams he better be a dominant dlineman like Donald otherwise it is just another dlineman added to the list. Higher value in a pass rushing end than an interior defender.
