Bielema likely left because he got no respect from our fanbase. Part of that is Alvarez's fault. He oversaw Bret closely and meddled a lot. Bielema had some cultural issues with our fan base, and they used it as proof that Barry really was the reason Bret won. But most of it is on our fan base. (But to be fair, Bielema was stupid. He succeeds because of good assistants, and that was another reason he left...poor assistant pay.)

Andersen left because he feuded with admissions and (correctly) felt he couldn't bring in the Polynesian and JUCO kids he wanted.

Strickland got a promotion. He didn't have a position coach gig here, so he went to a place where he did. Good for him. I love our current staff, and there are no issues with them whatsoever. I've actually been very happy that we were able to retain our excellent DC Dave Aranda, who led the #4 defense last year.

TCU and West Virginia to receive 85% of Big 12 revenue share | CollegeFootballTalk

Another year as a Big 12 member is in the books for TCU and West Virginia, and that means a slightly higher percentage of the Big 12 revenue shares are coming. David Ubben of FOX Sports reported the revenue share the Horned Frogs and Mountaineers will be receiving this year will jump to 85 percent as per the arrangements made when accepting membership in the conference.

Last year Big 12 schools received a revenue share valued at $23 million per school. TCU and West Virginia only received $14 million of that as first-year members in the new conference. This is generally the standard operating procedure for new schools in a conference. Next year at this time West Virginia and TCU will receive a full Big 12 revenue split.

Wow. 11 teams. 3 SEC, 3 Big12, 3 PAC, 1 ACC and 1 Big10. That's embarrassing. Penn State is the only one not playing an FCS school.
In fairness, many of the teams that do play at least one P5 team are also playing an FCS school as well. Also, when you can count an Indiana/Purdue/Kansas/Vanderbilt as your P5 team, the distinction seems to lose its shine.
