The Texas A&M junior linebacker was still being held in the Brazos County Detention Center on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member and interfering with emergency requested for assistance.

According to a report from Rivals.com, the job will go to Elliott as Henderson has decided to transfer out of the Tar Heels football program.
It’s unclear if Henderson made the decision after being informed that Elliott won the No. 2 job, or if he made it independent of the competition. At least according to the player, his decision had nothing to do with football.
A UO spokesperson confirmed that Chris Seisay has been granted a release from his scholarship and will transfer. According to The Oregonian, playing time — or lack thereof — didn’t play a role in the defensive back’s decision.
