You don't trade KC because he's a damn good QB. Only reason.

Almost 100% of us posting on this board agree that we should not trade KC. You are preaching to the choir. However, given that they can't, or won't, sign him to a long term contract, it is very probable that he will leave next year as a FA and we get basically nothing for him. If he is just a $24M one year rental, then trade him now and get a 1st and a couple of mid round pics to build the rest of the team for Colt and his successor.

For those of you that think we could still tag him again next year, that ain't happening. Not at the price his tag will be. If Allen did that, he would be the laughing stock of the league.

Pryor has to he excited at the thoughts of playing with a QB like Kirk after his situation in Cleveland. Still trying to understand why he signed a one year deal.

he will get resigned

Prior to and after the 2015 season.......NOPE!

Prior to and after the 2016 season.......NOPE!

Prior to and after the 2017 season........?????

If we listen carefully, we can actually hear the clock ticking, a little closer the price on the meter going up. I honestly believe that a whole lot of people will believe a resigning is coming all the way up to the moment that Kirk is traded or walks.*

There might be other reasons however, the two that come immediately to mind are....

1. He sets himself up for a really big payday if he has a big season.

2. Our current starting QB is also on a 1 year deal

Yeah good points. If Kirk leaves it's Cleveland all over again.

i will be one of those people sty , because i dont buy the latest offer as being real . its better for the skins PR to keep him for 2017 and if he has an off year he can be had on the cheap . we can transition him again if needed and it appears a trend for players to play on one year deals

now when he lines up as our starter in 2017 i expect lots of love people :D

Even if he has an off year, he won't come cheap. There is no way we transition tag him next year. Oh, Btw, I fully expect him to be under center for us in 2017 and then watch him walk in 2018 as that is the most fuck up scenario that could happen. Which is par for the course with this franchise.

So, Dad, I'm curious. If the latest rumored offering isn't real, why do you believe they haven't signed him to a long term deal? What's the hold up?
