We're really fortunate to have a guy who works so hard be a/the leader of the team.

I believe Huskers gonna win the regular season or conference title next season. Maybe both.

I bet the Vegas odds are better for that than winning a football title?

Anyway, can't wait.

“We got another big – another good, defensive, strong big that we needed,” Petteway said of Ayegba, a 6-9 forward/center. “I mean, he’s long. He blocks shots. When he played with us, he was just aggressive at getting rebounds.

“Then we got Tarin. He’s a nice, young point guard, he knows how to handle pressure. Benny Parker was getting into him, playing good defense on him, and he was handling it pretty good.”

As for Ayegba, Petteway can attest to the newcomer’s strong, physical stature.

“He set a screen on me one time and I had to look twice to see who it was,” Petteway said. “I like that about him. That’s the type of player I want on my team, somebody like Moses. He’s going to set a hard screen, he’s going to get rebounds and he’s going to block shots. And he ain’t going to be scared to do it against nobody.”

We are so lucky to have Petteway.

Seriously, Miles has done a splendid job of getting the pieces and putting them in the right place.......but even Miles himself didn't see Petteway stepping up and being a leader like that so soon.

Next season looks SO bright.
