LOL!!

There were plenty of times Jordan would bring the ball up the floor & simply do whatever he wanted.

The bottom line is this if the Heat lose the series Lebron will be 0-3 in the NBA Finals.

I think he was making fun of JJM from awhile back:ss:

Sorry, I just don't understand why Lebron has been put on a pedestal. I lived in Oregon at the time Jordan was embarrassing the Trail Blazers in the finals. It was beyond anything I'd ever seen. I mean the closest thing I'd seen up to that point would have been what Magic Johnson did to Philly when Kareem couldn't play that one game in the finals.

There are players who live for that moment when it's winning time. Jordan lived for that moment. For the most part Lebron seems to shy away from it.

I am a huge Jordan fan, always have been.

I am also a Lebron hater... but he is still young and his legacy is not cemented. Remember, Jordan didn't win a ring until his 6th or 7th season.

And to clarify my Lebron hate, it has nothing to do with his skills, I dislike him as a person.

...Also remember that Jordan didn't take every game winning shot, we just remember it that way... but he was clutch, something Lebron has not consistantly shown.

Jordan couldn't play PG though.

I can never tell if you're serious or not.

Jordan played 24 games at point guard in 1989. He averaged 29.3 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 10.6 apg and 2.4 spg.

Between March 24 and April 14 of that year, he recorded a triple double in 10 of 11 games, including 7 consecutive. In the one game that he didn't, he finished with 40pts, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.

I'd venture to say he woulda done alright;-)

LOL I like how people took that seriously... JJM always says Lebron is great because he plays "Floor General" like a PG.

I can see casual fans (who don't know bball) and media just to stir up something, comparing James to MJ. But I don't get it when knowledgeable bball observers do it. I understand the best vs. the best comparison, but their games are nothing alike. Kobe is MJ, while Lebron is Magic, Bird, Big O and possibly a mix of 10 other greats. You guys are spending lots of time on James vs. MJ but their games are nothing alike. If you want to compare impact on league, influence, endorsement, etc. then you might be on to something.

i get that strategy is part of the game. but i think throughout these playoffs especially that the offense is built around getting lebron picks and switched onto smaller opponent. Kobe and Jordan flat out dominated whoever guarded them. we saw jordan abuse whoever guarded him. it was more of dominating a individual player. they didn't need picks to create favorable matchups like lebron does

Lebron is a point forward that can score very well. Jordan was probably the greatest scorer ever. Jordan's job was to get buckets himself. Lebrons job is to run the offense and he does it incredibly. Jordan could run the offense just as well, but didn't need to with Pippen in the mix. Both are incredible defenders and look like they are varsity starters playing in freshman games when they need to D up. It's hard to compare the two. I would take Jordan in a heartbeat, but I'm also a bulls fan.

Jordan realized his follicle situation and shaved his head. Lebron didn't.

Jordan 4ever > Lebron

Kobe shaved his head at an earlier age.

Kobe > Jordan 4ever > Lebron

Nate Silver's 'FiveThirtyEight' website just wrote an article using advanced statistical analysis showing from best-to-worst all the teams who have made the Finals since 1985 and how good those teams would be if you removed their superstar and replaced them with a league average player.

The 1996 Bulls were the best Finals team ever NOT including Michael Jordan (its superstar), meaning that when you combine the best player ever with the best teammates ever, you get the best team ever. Easy enough.

According to this, LeBron James has taken 3 of the 8 worst teams ever to the Finals: 2014 Heat (8th worst), 2015 Cavs (3rd worst), and 2007 Cavs (2nd worst).

In other words, people point to Jordan's 6-0 Finals record and LeBron's 2-3 record and try to compare it. You just can't do that. Jordan had AWESOME teams from top to bottom on the roster. LeBron has mostly had bad teams.

Also, when looking at that list, in Jordan's 6 Finals appearances, only 1 of those teams was in the Top 25 best Finals teams ever (1996 Sonics - 3rd best). Counting this year's Warriors team, LeBron has faced 5 teams in the Top 25 (2007 Spurs, 2012 Thunder, 2013 Spurs, 2014 Spurs, 2015 Warriors).

Circumstance often dictates greatness, not an individual person.
