It'll be an interesting game to watch. Niners first string looked pathetic in the preseason which makes me very curious to find out whether it was because they were playing vanilla schemes with no intensity or because they have taken a monster step back

GO COWBOYS!!!!!!

Hell yes.

Yeah you got wonder, if the 49ers defense can hold up with some key players MIA. 49ers offense looked, blah in preseason, but the Cowboys defense may be just what the doctor ordered, as a cure.
Crossing my fingers and hoping the Cowboys pull off a upset, by winning a shoot out.

SF is going into this game absolutely wounded. Psychologically and talent wise. Dallas is being provided a gift from the football goods.

Go Dallas!!! (feel very disturbed saying that and need a shower, but so be it.)

I have Rivers and Romo in FF, starting Romo though. 49ers are just too depleted at the moment. I can't imagine who will reliably stop Bryant.

I'd feel a lot better about it if the Cowboys weren't projected to have one of the worst defenses in the history of the league this season. It'll come down to who plays better between the Dallas offense and the San Francisco defense in addition to which potentially awful unit plays least bad between the Niners O and the Cowboys D.

Yeah Romo couldn't even wait until the 4th quarter, like he usually does. Cowboys are looking at a rough season.

Yeah, the team has put up almost 400 yards today, but 4 turnovers in the first quarter killed them. The defense played better than I expected, so if Romo cuts down the mistakes, Dallas could actually be good. But, the fact that they once again played at home with what seemed more opposing fans than home fans is just pathetic.

And there's no excuse for it either. It's not like the Rangers are any good right now.

That was a pathetic performance by Dallas.
Coaching F
Offense D
Defense, the D was put in terrible positions and outplayed the O and it takes ZERO to beat that coaching effort by Garrett.

Garrett looks lost.

ONE, the color of his teams jersey

TWO Don't throw into triple coverage

No doubt the Cowboys didn't do us any favors today. 9'ers rolled pretty easily, but I'm not sure anyone really learned how that team will play moving forward either. With all those mistakes they were flat out gifted a lot of their scoring and Kaepernick just didn't have the kind of pressure he has sometimes had issues with in the last couple of seasons.

I think the biggest takeaway from that game, if you'll pardon the pun, is that the 49ers can be run on. At least they can in their current configuration. I don't know if that'll still be the case when we play them, but Murray seemed to be getting chunks of yards against them.

That's good news since our 3 biggest weapons can all run the ball.

I don't think there's too much else to be learned about the 9ers from watching them against Dallas though. I think we all underestimated just how terrible the Cowboys are. Anyone ranking Romo over Wilson right now is absolutely batshit crazy.

The Cowboys are awful. Romo is going to have a lot of turnovers this season because their only chance is for him to make lots of plays to compensate for their terrible defense. But the red zone turnover he had yesterday was total WTF land
