Meanwhile, the next day, a government witness flat out stated that he paid players at Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Northwestern and North Carolina, that in at least some of the cases, the coaches asked him to do it, and that he knows he wasn't only guy doing it. That seems a little more damning than a comment that could mean anything by someone who doesn't know anything taken out of context.
