Great read cd, thanks.

After reading that story, the overwhelming thought that I came away with is, someday Elway will no longer be a part of the Broncos organization. And as concerning as that thought is, I can only feel appreciation that he is a part of the Broncos now. We fans are lucky.

Joey Bosa is likely out for the season opener with a hamstring injury. This is always the worry when players miss most or all of the off season. I'm interested to see how Berry handles sitting out so long for the Chiefs. Or When Houston comes back for them of what type of player he will be.

I question, although it is an injury that is quite common in these situations, if it's actually legit or if Bosa is just not in football shape period. I wasn't and still am not as high as most that Bosa is going to be worthy of a 1st rd pick or if he even has a good NFL career. I think he's overrated. Imo of course.

Probably a combo Randy. My guess is he has a sore hammy cause he isn't in football shape. Easy way to give him some more time before he is ready. Bosa is surely a boom or bust pick IMO. I love what he offers but I think he has high bust potential. I'm not sure if he has it mentally. Physically he has it all.

Yeah DC, I was actually contemplating the possibility that Bosa was holding out for more guaranteed money because he might himself see the writing on the wall regarding his NFL career and therefore get as much as you can now before the bust t-shirts start printing. :)

The NFL will not be getting my money what so ever if they are going to let players spit on the rest of us .

Forcing people to show "patriotism" is a tool for dictatorships, not free nations.

38 degrees at our home this am. Pretty chilly for this early in September. I'm not ready for summer to be over.

I was out mowing last evening and the last about 20 minutes got pretty chilly here as well. Definitely setting in a bit early this year. Farmers around here were hoping we would have a nice week of heat to dry out the corn since it has been so wet all year. Instead we go from rainy season straight to fall season it seems.

Well just looking at the players that left this off season they seem to have done decent with their new teams.

Trevathan had 11 tackles, 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss.
Osweiler had a QB rating of 89.1 with 2 TD's and 1 interception and completed 62.8% of this passes.
Jackson had the worst game of the 3 having 0 tackles, 0 hits on QB, 0 hurries.

Now given I haven't watched Jackson's actual game to see if maybe they were doubling him allowing others to make plays.

This off season though could be the one off season where players we lose actually go and have a pretty decent impact on their new teams. It was definitely sad to watch Trevathan and Jackson walk out the door. Trevathan has been one of my favorite Broncos since he came to Denver.

Watching the Texans and the Bears was like watching a Bronco alumni game. Old Broncos never die - they just get sent to other teams.

Brock looked pretty good - hard to say what kind of test the Bears Defense gave him. Trev looked good too.
