I expected Colorado to win this game fairly easily as Colorado State is going to struggle a lot this year, but Colorado looks pretty good tonight I will say.

Yes - The Buffs looked good - I hope they learn ball security to go with the rest of the play.

Anybody else watching the Stanford/K-State game? McCaffrey looks like he is picking up right where he left off. Stinks that he had a 98 yard punt return called back. This kid though just does things that you rarely see on a football field. He makes people just look silly trying to tackle him.

You like #4 as a NFL CB DC. I'd like him at Dove Valley someday soon.

Yes. Even more intriguing to me is that the K State Defense looks much improved after looking like one of the worst Defense in D1 football last year. I am sure Bill Snyder worked hard on that this off-season.

Looks like big loss for the Raiders. Mario Edwards going to IR. A team already struggling to stop the run just lost one of their top run stuffers.

Yeah, he will be able to return after week 9 as he is on IR-return.. Not what they needed.

Seems to be the book on this kid though. Great talent but just always injured. One of those "What if" type players. Still time to change the book on him but at this time not looking the best.

Without a doubt and it made me sick when he was a Raider. His dad Mario Edwards SR, was my favorite player in the draft the year he went. Although I hate FSU and all... I wrote to him when I was younger and he sent me a nice letter back. Was hoping to see him somewhere other then Oakland. Sucked that his dad was drafted by Dallas too. ;)

That's cool that he wrote you back. Well I guess if he keeps getting injured over the next couple of years then maybe the Raiders cut him as a draft bust and the Broncos find a way to sign him for cheap and all of a sudden he gets healthy playing on a team that has better depth on the defense to keep him rested.

Uh uh, uh huh.

Everyone probably knows but haven't seen it posted.

Former Bronco K Connor Barth replaced long time Bears vet Robbie Gould as kicker in Chicago.

Eagles are trading CB Eric Rowe to Patriots for OL Josh Kline and a draft pick, league sources tell @MikeReiss and me.

Bummer he's be a good addition for when Denver lets "I can't Talib I shot myself" go.

Rowe really struggled last year and in camp this year. Guy I liked coming out. That being said he is perfect for the Patriots system.

Also Dee Milliner was placed on Jets IR, once again hurt.

Is Rowe more of a zone guy. Maybe not a fit for Denver's press man secondary.

Yeah more of a zone guy. He was a college S that Philly tried to move to CB and he just couldn't hack it in man to man.

I don't say this ever so understand when I say this it truly is worth the read. This is one of the best articles on the Broncos and especially Elway that I have ever read. I was laughing, tearing up, and honestly all the more confident in our team continuing to greatness under the leadership of Elway and Ellis.

Why John Elway's drive never ends

Now if you don't want to read the article probably my favorite part is the night after winning the Super Bowl. The article says that he and a few friends were celebrating in a suite. Around 4 a.m. the children of Broncos president Joe Ellis egged on Elway to wake up their dad, who had fallen asleep in a nearby suite. Elway then went and pounced into Ellis' bed.

Ellis when he awoke said "This is great!" to Elway

Elway's response is why I love this guy as our GM..."We can be better!" "I'm telling you--we can get better next year!"
