Lakers in 5. Not surprised, but tough series. Getting these series done early has played out well for the Lakers; they had a lot of rest between series and likely will have some to heal up against either Eastern team.

Had the Lakers had to run through teams like the Nuggets, no way do they finish this series with a win. Injuries on both sides, and bad refs. But Nuggets are definitely a team to be reckoned with in the coming years.

Nuggets put up a fight. It reminded me of Portland last year playing the GSW in the conference championship. They put up a fight but you felt like they never had a chance.

It felt like uphill and against the wind the whole series. I would have liked to see it go a little further but 33 playoff games for the young team over the past two years is pretty invaluable. With Jokic being 25, Murray 23, Porter 22 and Bol 20 (who has potential) - their best years are ahead of them.

I do think one factor in the Laker series was how many games the Nugs had already played and the minutes the players had to put in. Good lesson in taking care of business faster for the Nuggets next year.

But I would argue it’s his personality that make this a TEAM. He’s the most unselfish star in the NBA and cares more about making everyone else look good. If I have a complaint, it’s that at times he’s too unselfish and should take more shots. He also has a goofy and great personality that is attractive to fans and other players.

I do think that Milsap may have had his age catch up with him in these playoffs. The Nuggets need another Big - a banger - a guy who can get the opposing bigs in foul trouble.

The way the NBA really works - is when you become a Superstar in the league - the refs protect you and give you the benefit of the doubt. Both Murray and Joker - have entered that ranking area with their performances in this playoff group of series. Even the refs realize - the league would make no money without its star players.

Rypien's hustle and attempted block on Gordon's TD run - endears him to me. Right there - he is telling his teammates he's willing to do what it takes to win. He also played like he hadn't been beaten after three interceptions - he popped up and made plays. Lock needs to get well soon.

His worst game was probably the SB and he still won MVP (even though Damian Williams should have)

He struggled against the Rams two years ago, still put up a ton of points but turned the ball over several times.

That is about all I got.

So in other words even his bad games are good games.
