Overall agree - and props to AD for making the big bucket.

But Plumlee screwed up royally and too LBJ instead of stick to AD as was his assignment. So I can’t agree on the well defended part.

RIP - Gayle Sayers - one of the all time great players when I was growing up. I do not believe I have seen a RB as elusive to tackle as Gayle Sayers was to get down. No telling what he would have accomplished if he had access to the kind of medical procedures and training rehab that is prevalent today.

Big basketball game tonight. Go Nuggets! George and I were texting yesterday about this guy's article saying the Nuggets look like the 2nd coming of the 2013 Golden State Warriors - only with a deeper bench. If true @LGM is going to owe us a couple tunes at the forum's Karaoke stage.

They very well could be as good as GSW eventually. That doesn't mean this year. And quite honestly, the Lakers have beaten themselves the past two games more than anything impressive the Nugs have done.

I'll stand by my prediction, whatever it was. In 5 or 6.

Come on now! Give credit where it is due. Jamal Murray, Jokic, Montee Morris, Jeremi Grant had great games. That was a great game by the Nuggets minus the near collapse midway through the 4th. You gotta give your opponent some credit, none of this we beat ourselves, we sucked and gave the game to you! Your team may not play their best ball all the time, those things are going to happen, but the Nuggets went and got that game! They wanted it more! They ran! They need to keep doing that. That is the only way the Lakers won't win the title.. Gotta wear them ole dusty legs of theirs off.

Lakers in 5. Not surprised, but tough series. Getting these series done early has played out well for the Lakers; they had a lot of rest between series and likely will have some to heal up against either Eastern team.

Had the Lakers had to run through teams like the Nuggets, no way do they finish this series with a win. Injuries on both sides, and bad refs. But Nuggets are definitely a team to be reckoned with in the coming years.
