Normally, I'd criticize Romo to no end for that pick. It's a huge pick, but the dude put up 48 points. 48 points not enough to win a game, that's not his fault.

The only criticism here is Romo should have just thrown the damn ball away instead of just gun-slinging it in there. That's why Staubach and Aikman were successful.

I wasn't criticizing Romo. Just goes to show you his luck. He puts up 48 points and somehow still throws a game-losing pick. Most times when you score 48 points, the starters are resting with over 5 mins left. Yet here is Romo out there in a tie game.

All romo had to do was throw the ball away in that situation and come back with another play on 2nd and 3ird if necessary. It was his only bad decision of the game. Damn.
