For shits and giggles maybe it's possible we trade Cousins and Garcon to the Browns for their late 1st round pick

Seriously, Not sure what the fascination is with trading Garçon. We would unlikely get what he is worth, and in his absence, DJax would turn into a non factor (some of you have already stated this).
What he said
because with the new GM on board I can assure you he would find a very good young WR in the draft that is cheaper if I'm not mistaken I heard the the draft is deep on wr this year
can he find 3 because that is what he will need ?
as for trading KC and garcon for a late 1st rounder i would say the browns need to give up more
but again there is no need to trade /cut garcon
I don't know about that. On my OP, I was referring more to the fact that Cleveland likely does not gives up the #19 pick for those guys. Depending on who the Skins could get in FA, they would be foolish not to think about that.
on the browns garcon is a 90 plus catch wr . KC could be their starter . in return we get one starter . they would have to throw in a 4th rounder for me to look at it
So we trade a WR who we KNOW will start for us, and a QB that has the potential to start for us, for a draft pick??
NOPE!!!!

As much as I like Garçon, there are other guys in FA that could fill that role just fine. Cousins will probably not be given a fair chance to get the job, and even if he does, I wouldn't be expecting huge strides from him.
Chances are neither of these guys will be on the team in a couple years, so if you could get a 1st rounder for the two and fill Garçon's hole in FA, why wouldn't you do it??
I think if this trade was presented to Cleveland, they would prolly say "Nah...we good."
I that case its called spinning your wheels. We trade Garcon, sigh a starting caliber WR which will likely cost us the same $5 million we saved by dealing Garcon.... What exactly did we accomplish?? Now im fine with dealing Cousins because I do agree he wont get a real shot at the job. I just dont see a LOGICAL reason for dealing Garcon and bringing in some one who will need to learn the offense and likely cost just as much.
Well, one thing that is consistent with a team rebuilding is that they get younger. Maybe, that starting caliber WR would be 2-3 years younger than Garcon. Just a thought.

And even if he wasnt younger, it would not necessarily be a huge deal. If you get basicLly the same WR ( similar ability, similar contract) then we can all agree that the WR loss = WR gain = A push.
Then all you have left is Cousins and a 1st rounder. I think we win in that scenario.
