That's the problem, he'll continue to be simply an ok player until he learns, that's the point being made

It was C5-C6 that was fused. As is often the case, fusion has beget more fusions. He needs to realize he's going to wind up with his whole neck fused if he doesn't give it up. Each level above and below the fusions will break down because he had to get the motion from somewhere.

Fielder has young sons. If he wants to be a 40 something and able to toss catch and hit balls to them he needs to think this through.

You honestly think those things haven't been tried so far? I guarantee you that multiple people have talked to him about taking more pitches and spent time with him in the cage.

I like that DDJ takes pitches and usually has good ABs, but he ALWAYS takes the first pitch, basically the pitcher just has to throw a lollipop right down the middle and DDJ always starts behind and has to battle back to work a walk
