Tricky Nicky did do a great deal of winning in the B1G. Looks like after losing in the B1G he ran the SEC for fewer rules and less oversight. The B1G coaches have done well in the SEC.

Not nearly as well as former Big 12 coaches who sucked in the Big 12, but dominated in the SEC:

Les Miles - average coach at Okie jr, dominating at LSU (won a BCS title, played for another one)
Gene Chizik - just terrible at Iowa State, won a NC at AU
Tommy Tubberville - dominated at AU, sucked at TTECH
Dennis Franchione - did OK in the SEC, absolutely sucked in the Big 12

Chizik does deserve credit for being a damn good DC. I know he won a NC at AU, but that was b/c of a $180K investment. He's not a good HC.

The SEC Players Union still a little weaker than the NFL. While the gap is closing, you can still earn a slightly better living in both the NFC and AFC.

No way, two names Saban and Meyer. That accounts for what 6 of their NC and 7 if you count Miles winning with Saban's players since he cant do it with his own.
