In spite of the fact that they were successful, I don't think we need much data to know that you should almost never go for just 1. The only time I would even think of it is very late in the game, where we're tied after the TD. There just isn't much of a difference between getting it in from the 3 and in from the 5 to justify not going for twice as many points.

Should have been going for 2. 3 there is probably not worth the risk, with from the 10 actually being a fair amount more difficult than the 5.
